Our Mission
Established in 1993, Disability Resources, Inc. is the largest intermittent provider in Washoe County supporting individuals with disabilities to live an independent life.
Community inclusion is one of the greatest challenges facing individuals with disabilities.
Disability Resources promote opportunities for individuals with disabilities to establish involvement in meaningful activities throughout the community.
FOSTERING AN INDIVIDUAL'S AUTONOMY
Enriching personal growth through the development of life skills and friendships; encouraging community members to interact with individuals with disabilities in natural settings on a regular basis such as at the grocery store, bank, events, church, and other community settings; providing a quality of life through equality, inclusion, and advocacy.
